Gauze-like rice paper (or mulberry paper or unryu paper) gives both texture and delicateness to wildflower photos. Images are printed directly onto the paper. The edges are torn instead of cut to emphasize the fibers that are a principal characteristic of these remarkable papers. The printed paper is placed briefly on a thin layer of paste, lifted carefully, and fastened to the front of an acid-free blank greeting card.

Three nature images are available on rice-paper decoupage blank greeting cards.
